    Job Opportunity

     

    Alamos Gold is currently recruiting the following position to join our team at the Young-Davidson Mine located in Matachewan, Ontario located approximately 60 km west of Kirkland Lake.

    Long Hole Blasters

     

    Date Posted: November 8, 2018                            Closing Date: November 22, 2018

     

    Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient completion of underground long hole loading and blasting operations.

    Required Qualifications:

     

    • 3-5 years’ underground experience.
    • Accreditation in U/G common core modules and specialty modules.
    • Strong Safety focus.
    • Self-motivated ability to work alone.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently.
    • Preferred candidate will possess previous experience as a long hole blaster.
